Radha shanta mahavidyalaya is one of the leading higher teaching institutions of Rohtas district. It was established in 1978. It is situated in the lap of the mountain Kaimur and on the bank of the Sone river. It is surrounded by natural beauty. It is pertmanently affiliated to Bihar Government and Veer kunwar singh university, Ara . It is registered in 2 (F) and 12 (B) of the UGC, Act 1956. It covers a wide range of four blocks – Dehri , Tilouthu , Rohtas and Nauhatta. It is in the South direction of Dehri, the sub divisional town of Rohtas district. Most of the students study in the institition are either schedule caste or schedule Tribes. It has a fully well equipped laboratory and a huge library with modern facility of a reading hall. Utmost priority is given to the formation of career of the students.
